Ensemble of six b/w photographs (silver gelatin prints, vintage prints) and photo overpaintings, some with collage, in printed envelope by Rainer GÖRSS (*1960 GER). Each photograph hand signed, stamped and titled on the reverse.

Condition: Almost perfect. Minor traces of ageing and handling. Some photographs slightly waved
Artist and oeuvre: See encyclopedia entry in the "Bildatlas DDR Kunst" or the artist's website. Rainer Görß was a member of the legendary artist's group "Autoperforationsartisten" (together with Else Gabriel, Via Lewandowsky and Micha Brendel), whose radical performances made them part of the avant-garde of the non-conformist art scene in the GDR. Works by the photographer, conceptual and action artist were also shown in the GDR art exhibition "Gegenstimmen" (Voices of Dissent) at the Martin-Gropius-Bau in Berlin (2016) and in the exhibition "Point of No Return. Wende und Umbruch in der ostdeutschen Kunst" at the Museum der Bildenden Künste Leipzig (2019).
