Ulrich Hachulla, student of Werner Tübke and Bernhard Heisig, is an important representative of the Leipzig School. Artwork by Ulrich Hachulla has also been shown in 2018 in the much acclaimed exhibition "Behind the Mask: Artists in the GDR" at Museum Barberini in Potsdam as well as in the exhibition "Beyond the Horizon. Art of the GDR" in the Staatlichen Museum Schwerin.
