Artwork by Manfred Butzmann has been shown in the GDR art exhibition "Gegenstimmen" (Voices of Dissent) at the Martin-Gropius-Bau in Berlin (2016). In 2019, works by Butzmann were exhibited in the art show "Zeitenwende - 30 Jahre Mauerfall" at the Kunstforum der Berliner Volksbank. In 2022 participation in the exhibition "Aufbrüche. Abbrüche. Umbrüche. Kunst in Ost-Berlin 1985-1995"
